AUSTRALIAN VENUE CO LIMITED is seeking enthusiastic Duty Managers to join our Darwin venues. Lead day-to-day operations across food, beverage and gaming, and motivate front-of-house teams while delivering top-notch guest experiences in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 1–2 years in hospitality leadership, strong customer service, and flexibility for evenings and weekends. RSA and Gaming licences are highly regarded or willing to obtain.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Duty Manager, Supervisor, or similar hospitality leadership role.
• Strong bar and customer service experience with ability to lead busy service periods.

If you're passionate about hospitality, love leading from the front and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd love to hear from you.What You'll Be DoingLeading day-to-day venue operations across food, beverage and gaming.Delivering exceptional guest experiences while maintaining high service standards.Coaching, developing and motivating front-of-house teams.Opening and closing the venue, including late-night trading where required.Supporting labour management, venue presentation and operational compliance.Managing cash handling, end-of-day reconciliation and venue reporting.Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally.Working closely with the Venue Manager to drive operational success.What We're Looking ForPrevious experience in a Duty Manager, Supervisor or similar hospitality leadership role.At least 1-2 years' hospitality experience in a fast-paced food and beverage environment.Strong bar and customer service experience with the confidence to lead busy service periods.Experience in late-night venues, gaming operations or high-volume bars will be highly regarded.A genuine passion for hospitality and the drive to build a long-term career.Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Strong problem-solving skills and confidence making decisions under pressure.Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and late-night closes (where required).Current NT RSA certificate.Current NT Gaming Machine Licence is highly regarded (or willingness to obtain).What's On OfferCasual opportunities offering approximately 25-38 hours per week.Competitive hourly rates.Ongoing leadership development through our AdVanCe Career Program.Career progression across 200+ venues throughout Australia & New Zealand.Staff discounts across Australian Venue Co venues.A supportive team culture with genuine opportunities to grow your hospitality career.If you're ready to build your career with one of Australia's leading hospitality groups, apply today and join the team in Darwin!
