Job summary

Belgravia Leisure is seeking a Duty Manager for NSW's Great Lakes Aquatic & Leisure Centre in Forster. You will coordinate daily operations with a strong emphasis on safety and high-quality service while leading lifeguards and front‑of‑house staff.

The role demands energetic, clear communication, and the ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends. Essential: First Aid/CPR, Lifeguard certificate, Police Check; Working with Children checks may apply.

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in public facilities.
• Strong customer service and safety focus.
• Ability to manage day-to-day operations.

The Role

We are currently looking for enthusiastic, reliable and friendly Duty Managers t to join the team. The Duty Manager’s primary responsibility is to co-ordinate day to day operations of the facility with the highest regard to safety and high quality service delivery.

This role requires an individual who is a leader and can keep cool under pressure. You should be energetic, dynamic, outgoing and fun. You will need outstanding communication skills and a commitment to customer service excellence to ensure our patrons safely enjoy our visit every time.

Successful applicants will demonstrate the ability to communicate and interact effectively with patrons that have a diverse range of ages, abilities, cultures and needs. You will also be required to work a minimum of 1 Lifeguard shift per week.

Skills & Attributes

• Strong leadership experience with an ability to inspire others
• Excellent verbal communication skills
• An understanding of OHS and public safety applications within your facility
• Ability to work mornings, evenings and weekends
• Current First Aid (Level 2) & Current CPR Certificate
• National Police Check
• Current Pool Lifeguard Certificate
• Current Pool Operations Certificate is desirable

Previous experience and success in a comparable role is not essential but highly regarded!
