Job summary

Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney is seeking a motivated Duty Manager to oversee hotel operations in the absence of senior management. You will support Front Office duties, staff inductions, and guest services to ensure a smooth stay from arrival to departure.

The role requires a Diploma in Hospitality Management and at least one year in hotel management, including night audit and reservations. You will lead with exceptional communication, financial awareness, and the ability to multi-task while

Qualifications

• Diploma in Hospitality Management.
• At least one year of experience in general hotel management, including night audit and reservations.
• First point of contact for the hotel with strong service orientation.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure the hotel operates efficiently and in line with policy.
• Attend to guest queries professionally and handle guest requests.
• Liaise with Food & Beverage and Housekeeping to coordinate group needs.
• Train new staff and perform inductions on property policies.
• Forecast occupancy, analyze trends and advise on rate opportunities.
• Assist with special requests, reservations, and guest services.
• Manage guest history records and promote guest relations.
