Job summary

Amora Hotel Jamison Sydney, part of the Amora Hotels Group, seeks an experienced F&B Duty Manager or Supervisor to lead daily operations across outlets in the heart of Sydney. Reporting to the Director of Food & Beverage, you will coach a dynamic team, ensure service excellence, manage rostering and cost controls, and collaborate with kitchen and events teams to maximise guest satisfaction.

• 2+ years in a supervisory or senior F&B role.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Structured, high-volume hospitality environment experience.
• RSA certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of the day-to-day operation of our F&B outlets.
• Lead, coach and motivate team members to deliver outstanding guest experiences.
• Support the development of supervisors and team members through training and on-the-floor leadership.
• Maintain high standards of service, presentation and product knowledge.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve concerns confidently and professionally.
• Assist with rostering, staffing levels and performance management.
• Support security, maintenance, health, safety and hygiene requirements.
• Contribute to stock management, cost control and waste minimisation.
• Work closely with our Kitchen and Events teams to ensure seamless service.
• Promote our F&B products and identify opportunities to maximise revenue through upselling.
• Step into a leadership role where your initiative and decision-making can make a real difference.

The Role

Are you an experienced F&B Supervisor ready to take the next step?

We are looking for a motivated hospitality professional to join our dynamic team as F&B Duty Manager. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has established themselves as a strong supervisor and is ready to take on greater responsibility, develop their leadership skills and progress their career within a five‑star hotel environment.

Reporting directly to the Director of Food & Beverage, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily operations of our Restaurant, Bar and other F&B outlets while leading a team to consistently deliver exceptional service.

The successful candidate will be required to:

What we are looking for

• At least 2 years' experience in a supervisory or senior F&B role
• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Proven ability to work in a structured, high-volume hospitality environment
• Solid understanding of hospitality operations, including restaurant, bar, and events service
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
• Strong organisational and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of relevant Australian workplace health and safety regulations
• Relevant qualification in Hospitality Management or equivalent practical knowledge and experience
• RSA certification (required)
