Job summary

Four Hundred North Sydney is seeking a Duty Manager to lead high-energy shifts and keep exceptional guest service at the forefront. This part-time casual role offers about 20–25 hours a week, with Tuesday to Saturday availability in a vibrant, award-winning pub group.

You’ll supervise the floor, manage cash and stock, ensure RSA compliance, and work closely with the Venue Manager to lift standards and team culture. If you love hospitality and staying cool under pressure, this is your next step.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team leader experience.
• Current NSW RSA (mandatory).
• A natural leader who brings energy and positivity to every shift.
• Someone who genuinely loves hospitality and takes pride in great service.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to stay cool under pressure.
• Availability Tues–Sat is ideal, approx. 25 hours available.

Responsibilities

• Running smooth, high-energy shifts from open to close.
• Leading and supporting the floor team to deliver exceptional service.
• Overseeing daily operations — cash management, opening/closing procedures, stock control.
• Ensuring compliance with RSA, liquor licensing, and WHS requirements.
• Being the go-to person when things need problem-solving (and in hospo, they always do).
• Working closely with the Venue Manager to drive standards and team culture.
