Job summary

TFE Hotels is seeking an energetic Assistant Food & Beverage Manager (Part-Time) for Vibe Hotel Darling Harbour in Sydney. You will lead our bar, restaurant and conferencing operations, delivering memorable guest experiences while coaching a high-performing team on a rotating 7-day roster.

This on-site role requires a hands-on leader with strong beverage knowledge, RSA and food safety credentials, and a passion for guest service.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience in a hotel bar, restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong beverage knowledge including wine, spirits, cocktails and coffee.
• Experience coaching and developing high-performing teams.
• Sound commercial awareness with labour and stock controls.
• Current RSA certification and Food Safety Supervisor Certification or willingness to obtain.
• Flexible availability to work across a rotating 7-day roster (evenings, weekends and public holidays).

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day bar and beverage operations across the venue.

At Vibe Hotel Darling Harbour, we’re looking for an energetic and hands-on Assistant Food & Beverage Manager (part-time) to help lead our vibrant food and beverage operation. This is an exciting opportunity for an emerging hospitality leader with a strong background in bars, beverages, cocktails and team leadership to make their mark in one of Sydney’s most dynamic hotel environments.

About the Role

Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you’ll be a hands-on leader across our bar, restaurant and conferencing operations, ensuring exceptional service standards while inspiring your team to deliver memorable guest experiences every day.

This is a leadership role for someone who thrives on the floor rather than behind a desk. You’ll be visible, guest-focused and ready to jump in wherever needed, whether that’s crafting cocktails, supporting a busy service, coaching team members or leading an event.

What You’ll Be Doing

About You

You’ll bring a genuine passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of contemporary bar operations.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous leadership experience in a hotel bar, restaurant, venue or hospitality environment

• Strong beverage knowledge, including wine, spirits, cocktails and coffee
• Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
• A hands-on leadership style and passion for guest service
• Sound commercial awareness and understanding of labour and stock controls
• Current RSA certification
• Food Safety Supervisor Certification or willingness to obtain
