Holiday Inn Express Macquarie Park, Sydney, is seeking an experienced Hotel Duty Manager to lead our front-of-house team and uphold service standards.

Working with the Hotel Manager, you’ll ensure smooth operations, staff coaching, and compliance with brand expectations, while delivering outstanding guest experiences. The ideal candidate has hotel experience, strong leadership, excellent communication, and the ability to stay calm under pressure, including flexibility for day and night shifts.

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Hotel Duty Manager, someone smart and considerate - a problem solving genius that takes pride in creating and delivering great customer experiences. Working with the Hotel Manager, you'll lead the team to success, rolling up your sleeves and working side by side to deliver a superior product. You'll take responsibility for compliance and quality, including the satisfaction of both our guests and staff - ensuring brand and company standards are maintained.

About you-

• Must have previous accommodation hotel experience in a similar role
• Strong Leadership skills in managing teams to drive for results
• Ability to communicate effectively in spoken and written form
• Professional and personable, with a can-do attitude.
• You're pre-equipped with sound judgement, even under pressure – you'll have a heap of responsibility right off the bat
• You make calm, collected decisions – even when the clock is ticking
• You will be required to hold or obtain a First Aid certificate and a SA RSA Certificate
• Be flexible to work between days and nights as required.
• Have PMS experience - PM Pro preferred.
