Job summary

The Metropolitan Hotel Mackay, affectionately known as The Met, is seeking a Duty Manager to lead our busy pub team in Mackay, Australia.

You will train, supervise and motivate staff, manage cash handling, and oversee end-of-night procedures. Weekend and night work is a must. A current RLMV and Approved Managers License are required. We offer a competitive salary of $76,000 plus super, together with meals and staff benefits.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in a Duty Manager/supervisor role in pubs
• Train, performance manage, and motivate staff
• Proven experience in cash handling/banking
• Proven experience in end of night procedures
• Ability to work weekends & nights are a must
• Enjoy working in a team environment
• Work with and communicate effectively with all departments within the Head Office team
• RLMV & Approved Managers License
