Fairley's IGA in Shepparton is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to lead a hands-on team and ensure stock availability and exceptional store presentation. You will drive customer engagement and uphold high standards of service.

The role is full-time, 38 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday, with an attractive base salary plus 12% superannuation. You’ll coach staff, manage rostering, and support store operations and compliance.

Formación

• Experience in management and rostering.
• Strong leadership and ability to coach a team.
• Experience with stock ordering/merchandising and store presentation.
• Police check is required for this role.

About the role:

Sunday to Thursday Roster - Full-Time 38 hours per week

Our store in Shepparton has been an integral part of the community since for over 100 years. This is a rare chance to combine your passion and knowledge with your retail leadership experience while still progressing your career. The position is very much “hands on” and the applicant should be able to lead by example, particularly in manual movement of stock and shelf replenishment. You’ll take pride in ensuring that the store is well stocked and exceptionally presented, as well as welcoming and engaging for our customers.

As a Duty Manager you are responsible for the following tasks:

• Developing and coaching your team
• Take a one team approach to meet sales targets, cost control and rostering
• Presentation, merchandising and stock management
• Meet audit and compliance standards
• Assist and work alongside the Store and Assistant Manager with all operations of the business
• Assist in Storeroom and Delivery duties
• Experience with electronic stock ordering
• Experience in dealing with company representatives
• Demonstrated experience in management, employee supervision and rostering
• Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
• Forklift license is preferred but not essential.
