Job summary

Early Settler Group in Shepparton is seeking a passionate Assistant Store Manager to join our Monday–Thursday roster. You will lead the store in partnership with the Store Manager, champion customer-centric service and drive sales performance through coaching and hands-on leadership.

You will manage rostering, onboarding, admin tasks and contribute to store performance while upholding our values and delivering a best-in-class shopping experience for our customers.

Qualifications

• 2–3+ years in retail with a track record of achieving targets.
• Strong commercial acumen and a results-driven mindset.
• Ability to coach, guide and motivate teams to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Comfort with rostering, onboarding and administrative tasks.
• Interest in home styling and furniture is a plus.
• Ability to lift/move products as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Drive sales performance and achieve targets through effective selling of merchandise.
• Provide styling solutions and recommendations, upsell and cross-sell based on customer needs.
• Coach retail team to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Support rostering, financial performance, administrative tasks, recruiting and onboarding of new team members.
• Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales and customer service targets.
