Job summary

Cornetts IGA Gordonvale is seeking a highly motivated Assistant Store Manager to lead and develop a dynamic retail team. You’ll be hands-on, drive store performance, and ensure exceptional customer service in a busy environment.

You’ll manage inventory, monitor shrinkage, and work with enterprise systems while adhering to WHS standards. The role involves a rotating roster including nights, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management and shrinkage control.
• Ability to drive sales and achieve budgets.
• Experience with enterprise systems (BC, SAP, Oracle).
• Knowledge of WHS and safety requirements.
• Experience in training and coaching team members.

Responsibilities

• Assist store manager in daily store operations.
• Hands-on leadership in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Manage rotational roster including nights, weekends, public holidays.

We are currently looking for a highly motivated, passionate retail leader interested in an Assistant Store Manager in our Cornetts IGA in Gordonvale. You will be hands‑on in your approach and enjoy physical work; ensuring customer satisfaction is achieved. You will be required to work a rotational roster which may include nights, weekends and public holidays.

Experience:

• Experience in inventory managementincluding monitoring and controlling shrinkage
• Ability to drive sales ,achieve budgets and exceed targets
• Experience using enterprise systems, such as BC, SAP, Oracle
• Knowledge and experience with WH&S and safety requirements
• Experience in training and coaching other team members

Skills:

Preferred

• Retail industry experience strongly preferred
