Job summary

Qantas is seeking a Duty Airport Manager to lead live airport operations from Perth Airport. You will act as the on-shift decision maker, overseeing both above- and below-wing activities to ensure safety, on-time performance and exceptional customer service.

You will work a rotating shift roster, partnering with port teams, ground service providers and airport authorities to manage disruption and deliver strong operational results.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in frontline operational management (airport operations preferred).
• Proven ability to lead and motivate teams during live operations.
• Experience managing disruption, competing priorities and real-time decisions.

Responsibilities

• Lead live airport operations and act as the on-shift decision maker.
• Oversee end-to-end operations across above- and below-wing activities.
• Drive safety outcomes, on-time performance and customer-focused service.
