Job summary

Thiess is seeking Dump Truck Operators for the Yilgarn Iron Ore Project in Western Australia. You will operate Komatsu 785 dump trucks in a production mining environment, ensuring safe, efficient loading and adherence to site procedures.

A 2:1 roster is offered with camp facilities and DIDO options. Applicants should have at least 2 years of dump truck experience in mining, with exposure to hard rock operations preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years plus experience as a Dump Truck Operator in production mining operation.
• Equivalent to or specific experience operating Komatsu 785 is essential.
• Experience in a hard rock mining operation desirable.

• Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output
• Complying with Thiess’s policies and procedures
• Responding to instructions from Mining Supervisor
• Effectively positioning machinery to allow for efficient loading

About the Project

Thiess, Yilgarn Iron Ore Project is a Brownfields mining operation that includes the sites of Koolyanobbing, Windarling and Parker Range.

Koolyanobbing is in the Shire of Yilgarn, Western Australia, 54 km north-northeast of the town of Southern Cross.

Thiess are currently seeking applications from experienced Dump Truck Operators to proudly represent our Production Mining Team. In this role, you will:

• Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output
• Complying with Thiess’s policies and procedures

About you
