Thiess is seeking an experienced Dump Truck Operator to join the Production Mining Team. The role involves FIFO from Perth to Iron Bridge Mine on a 2:1 roster, with salary sacrifice options and access to new camp facilities at Japal Village.

This is a permanent full-time position with development and upskilling opportunities. In this role you will operate heavy machinery, comply with company policies, respond to supervisor instructions, position equipment for loading, maintain housekeeping

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years experience as a production dump truck operator in mining.
• Experience operating Caterpillar 793F dump trucks is essential.
• Valid Australian driver's license is required.

• FIFO Perth to Iron Bridge Mine - 2:1 roster (7D7N7RR)

In this role, you will:

• Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output
• Complying with Thiess’s policies and procedures
• Responding to instructions from Mining Supervisor
• Effectively positioning machinery to allow for efficient loading
• Setting and maintain high housekeeping standards
• Carrying out pre-start checks

About you:

• Minimum 3 years experience as a production dump truck operator in mining
• Equivalent to or specific experience operating Caterpillar 793F dump trucks is essential
• Experience in hard rock mining operation desirable
• Valid Australian drivers license – required
