You will hold Standard 11, a valid driver's licence, and a verified machinery skills list, working in a 7:7 DN roster with day/night shifts. Thiess offers ongoing training and a strong safety culture.

Qualifications

• 12 months' experience operating haul trucks in open cut coal mining.
• Must have Standard 11 certification.
• Must hold a current driver's licence.

The Opportunity

Are you an experienced Haul Truck Operator with a strong commitment to safety and a passion for mining? Thiess is seeking experienced and motivated Truck Operators to join our high-performing team at Curragh North.

As a key member of the Curragh North team, you'll play an important role in supporting safe, efficient mining operations by operating haul trucks and contributing to a productive, safety-focused team environment.

Roster: 7:7 DN | Location: Curragh North, QLD | Employment Type: Full-Time

As the Truck Operator, you will:

• Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently to support production targets.
• Maintain a strong commitment to Thiess' safety culture, procedures, and operational standards.
• Work collaboratively with supervisors and team members to deliver safe, reliable, and productive mining operations.

About you

• Minimum 12 months' experience operating haul trucks in an open cut coal mining environment.
• Verified machinery skills list (training transcripts/LMS documents) signed by an SSE or delegate.
• Current Standard 11.
• Current Driver's Licence.
• A proactive attitude with the desire to work reliably as part of a team.
