Job summary

Thiess Mount Pleasant Operation seeks Haul Truck and Multi-Skilled Operators with open cut experience to operate heavy earthmoving equipment such as Cat 793 Haul Trucks, Komatsu 930, D10/D11 Dozers, 16 & 24 Graders, 994 Loaders, 777 water cart. Work on a rotating roster (5/4 4/5 5/5) including day, night and weekend shifts.

Candidates should have proven experience in mining, current RPL/competencies, strong communication, and a commitment to safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Experience operating heavy earth moving machinery in a mining environment.
• Current RPL/ competencies to reflect your skill-set to be provided at interview.
• Good communication skills with the willingness to be part of a high-performance team.
• Commitment to the highest safety, community and environmental standards.
• Experience in operating large heavy plant.
• Initiative and a flexible approach to work, with a proactive approach and productive mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate Cat 793 Haul Trucks and other listed heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Work on a rotating lifestyle roster 5/4 4/5 5/5 including day, night and weekend shifts.
• Maintain high safety and production standards while following site procedures.
