Job summary

New Horizons in Tweed Heads (Far North Coast, NSW) seeks a Recovery Coach/Support Coordinator for a part-time 32 hours/week, term-defined 12-month contract. You will support participants under the NDIS, coordinating services while working with cross-functional teams to deliver joined-up care.

Bring mental health experience, NDIS knowledge, and strong communication to empower people to direct their own lives. Local travel and driving may be required.

Qualifications

• Certificate IV in Mental Health Peer Work or Mental Health related qualification.
• At least two years’ experience in a mental health-related role.
• Current checks: Police Check (within 3 months), NSW Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening.
• NSW Driver’s Licence; able to drive larger vehicles if required.

Responsibilities

• Support participants in living meaningful, self-directed lives across both roles.
• Coordinate caseloads, plan, monitor KPIs and progress with participants.
• Collaborate with Customer Service, Product, Finance and Peer Coordinators.
• Assist across projects that improve participant outcomes and experience.
• Ensure compliant expenditure within delegation while meeting participant needs.
• Act as first contact for participants, families and other coordinators.
