Job summary

Lindsay Australia Limited in Townsville is seeking HC Drivers to join a growing operation. You will safely operate an HC vehicle to complete daily pick-up and delivery runs, with rosters Monday–Friday or Tuesday–Saturday, including day, afternoon and night shifts.

The team offers competitive all-inclusive hourly rates, long-term employment, a modern fleet, new depots, weekly wages, and a $1,500 referral reward, plus training and ongoing development across Australia.

Qualifications

• Current Heavy Combination (HC) Licence.
• Experience in pick-up and delivery or general freight operations.
• Safe driving record and strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and fatigue management requirements.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Confidence using electronic proof of delivery and transport system.
• Forklift licence (desirable but not essential).

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HC vehicle to complete daily pick-up and delivery runs.
• Deliver freight on time and without damage.
• Load, unload and secure freight.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Follow road transport legislation, fatigue management and company procedures.
• Complete delivery documentation and electronic records.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle.
• Work with the operations team to deliver excellent service.
