Job summary

Lindsay Australia is expanding its North Queensland transport operations and is seeking a hardworking HC vehicle driver to join the new Townsville operation. Rosters run Monday to Friday or Tuesday to Saturday with day, afternoon and night shifts, offering secure, long-term employment with competitive pay and benefits.

You will safely operate HC vehicles, ensure timely deliveries, load/unload freight, and maintain accurate records while delivering professional customer service in a growing

Qualifications

• Experience in pick-up and delivery or general freight operations.
• Safe driving record and commitment to safety.
• Knowledge of CoR and fatigue management requirements.
• Ability to load, unload and secure freight.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time.
• Confidence using electronic proof of delivery systems.
• Reliable, professional attitude and work ethic.
• Forklift licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HC vehicle to complete daily pick-up and delivery runs.
• Deliver freight on time and without damage.
• Load, unload and secure freight.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Follow road transport legislation, fatigue management and company procedures.
• Complete delivery documentation and electronic records.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle.
• Work with the operations team to deliver excellent service.
