Job summary

Lindsay Australia Ltd is hiring HC Drivers for Mackay (Paget) to operate a HC vehicle, perform timely pick-ups and deliveries, and maintain vehicle safety. You will load/unload, complete inspections, and follow CoR and fatigue management requirements. A safety-first, team-oriented environment with ongoing training awaits.

Qualifications

• Current Heavy Combination (HC) Licence is required.
• Demonstrated experience in pick-up and delivery or general freight operations.
• Safe driving record and strong commitment to safety and compliance.
• Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR) and fatigue management requirements.
• Ability to load, unload and secure freight and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate an HC vehicle to complete daily pick-up and delivery runs.
• Deliver freight on time and without damage.
• Load, unload and secure freight.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections and report defects.
• Follow road transport legislation, fatigue management and company procedures.
• Complete delivery documentation and electronic records.
• Provide professional customer service.
• Maintain a clean and roadworthy vehicle.
• Work with the operations team to deliver excellent service.

• Forklift licence (desirable but not essential)
