Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking an experienced HR Driver at our Morningside QLD depot to perform waste collection duties across the region. Start times between 4 AM and 6 AM, with opportunities for overtime.

You will operate rear lift waste vehicles, load and unload materials, and ensure safe, professional presentation of the vehicle while delivering to recycling and disposal facilities. Unrestricted HR Licence is a MUST; waste industry experience is preferred but training available.

The Opportunity

Based out of our Morningside QLD depot, we are seeking experienced Truck Drivers / Heavy Vehicle Driver for work performing essential services throughout the region.

As a HR Driver you will be responsible for:

• Operating waste vehicle collection such as rear lift
• Perform loading and unloading duties of waste, material or consignments
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

About You

• Hold an unrestricted HR Licence
• Waste industry experience preferred but not essential as we'll support the right person to learn
• A collaborative team player who can also work independently
• Presentable, professional, and customer-focused
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn
