Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking a reliable driver in Newman, WA to operate a fleet of collection vehicles and perform daily checks. You will interact with clients, ensure safe loading/unloading, and maintain vehicle presentation while upholding high customer service standards.

The role requires an HC/MC license, a clean driving record, and the ability to pass pre-employment medical and drug screening; forklift licence is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Valid HC/MC driving licence is required.
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Operate a variety of trucks and company collection vehicles.

• $43.73/hr + additional $500 regional allowance paid weekly
• Overtime opportunities

The Opportunity

• Operation of company collection vehicles and equipment
• Daily pre-starts and maintenance checks on vehicles and equipment
• Client interaction and safe loading and unloading of truck
• Maintaining the presentation of the vehicle, inside and out
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction

About You

• Able and willing to operate a variety of trucks
• An unrestricted HC/MC license
• Experience in the waste industry would be fantastic
• Forklift licence preferred but not essential
• Clean driving record
• A professional presentation and manner with a strong customer service ethic
• A strong commitment to safety; and a willingness to work as part of a team
• Have a great attitude and want to be part of a great team environment
• Must be able to pass pre-employment medical and drug screen
