Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking an experienced HR Driver based at our Morningside QLD depot to perform waste collection duties across the region. This casual role offers full-time hours with start times 4am–6am and requires an unrestricted HR Licence.

You will operate waste vehicles, load/unload materials, deliver to recycling/disposal facilities, and maintain vehicle presentation while ensuring customer satisfaction. Training and career development opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unrestricted HR Licence.
• Waste industry experience preferred but not essential; training provided for the right candidate.
• Collaborative team player who can also work independently.
• Presentable, customer-focused and safety-conscious.

Responsibilities

The Opportunity

Based out of our Morningside QLD depot, we are seeking experienced Truck Drivers / Heavy Vehicle Driver for work performing essential services throughout the region.

As a HR Driver you will be responsible for:

• Operating waste vehicle collection such as rear lift
• Perform loading and unloading duties of waste, material or consignments
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

About You

• Hold an unrestricted HR Licence
• Waste industry experience preferred but not essential as we’ll support the right person to learn
• A collaborative team player who can also work independently
• Presentable, professional, and customer-focused
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn
