Job summary

Cleanaway is seeking a HR Driver based in Brisbane, QLD. The role includes early starts between 4AM and 6AM, casual position with full-time hours, and responsibilities around waste collection and delivery. You will join Australia’s largest waste management organisation with strong community focus.

Experience in waste industry is preferred, but we’ll train the right person. HR Licence is a MUST, and reliability, customer focus, and safety mindset are essential for success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold an unrestricted HR Licence.
• Waste industry experience preferred but not essential; training provided for the right person.

Responsibilities

• Operate waste collection vehicle (rear lift).
• Load and unload waste, materials, or consignments.
• Deliver loads to recycling/disposal facilities.
• Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
• Keep vehicle clean and presentable inside and out.

The Opportunity

Based out of our Morningside QLD depot, we are seeking experienced Truck Drivers / Heavy Vehicle Driver for work performing essential services throughout the region.

As a HR Driver you will be responsible for:

• Operating waste vehicle collection such as rear lift


• Perform loading and unloading duties of waste, material or consignments


• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities


• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction


• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

About You

• Hold an unrestricted HR Licence


• Waste industry experience preferred but not essential as we’ll support the right person to learn


• A collaborative team player who can also work independently


• Presentable, professional, and customer-focused


• Reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn
