Job summary

Cleanaway is hiring an on-site driver in Sydney to support our hard rubbish and unit collection teams. The role includes curbside pickup, loading/unloading heavy rubbish, and delivering to recycling facilities.

You will work in a safety‑conscious, team environment with an emphasis on customer service and vehicle presentation. Applicants must hold a HR licence with at least 12 months experience, be physically fit for heavy lifting, and be willing to undertake medical and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Hard rubbish collection as part of the team.

• Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable inside and out.

The Opportunity

This role is not just driving - there is a physical component to this role, the expectation is curbside pickup of hard rubbish

• Working in our hard rubbish team or unit collection team
• Performing loading and unloading duties of hard rubbish - Must be physically fit
• Delivering loads to nominated recycling and disposals facilities
• Ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Maintaining presentation of the vehicle, inside and out

You must have a HR licence with at least 12 months experience

• Must be fit as heavy lifting is essential
• HR Licence - Minimum 12 months experience
• Willingness to undertake pre-employment medical, drug and alcohol testing
• Must be available for an early morning start
• Commitment to safety and willingness to work as part of a team
