Job summary

Join Cleanaway in Newman, Western Australia, as a permanent full-time HR driver. You will safely operate waste collection vehicles, load and unload waste, and deliver loads to recycling and disposal facilities while providing courteous customer service.

We value safety and teamwork and offer a strong safety culture, on-going training, and career development. A pre-employment medical and drug/alcohol screening are part of our process, with a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• HR licence is required.
• Experience or willingness to operate a variety of trucks.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate waste collection vehicles.
• Load, transport and unload commercial and industrial waste materials.
• Deliver loads to designated recycling and disposal facilities.
• Provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Complete daily vehicle checks and maintain vehicle presentation.
• Comply with fatigue management, safety and operational requirements.

About You

We’re looking for a reliable and safety-focused driver who enjoys working independently and as part of a team.

• Unrestricted HR Licence
• Experience or willingness to operate a variety of trucks
• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual handling tasks
• Forklift Licence (desirable but not essential)
• Clean driving record
• Strong customer service skills and a positive attitude
• Commitment to workplace safety and teamwork
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening
