Job summary

Cordwell's Concrete in Queensland is seeking an experienced Dredge Driver to operate dredging equipment, support sand extraction and production, and ensure safe, efficient material handling.

You will perform pre-start checks, monitor pump pressures, and collaborate with quarry and maintenance teams while working outdoors in a dynamic environment.

This role requires hands-on capability, strong safety mindset, and the ability to work independently with a White Card and medical fitness.

• Ability to work around water, floating plant and pipelines.

We are expanding our operations and seeking an experienced Dredge Driver to join our team. This role is critical to supporting our sand extraction, quarry production, and concrete manufacturing operations.

About the Role

As a Dredge Driver, you will operate dredging equipment to extract sand and raw materials safely and efficiently. You’ll work closely with our quarry and production teams to maintain consistent material quality and support daily operational targets.

This role suits someone who enjoys hands‑on work, operating specialised plant, and working outdoors in a dynamic quarry environment.

• White Card (QLD)
• Ability to meet medical/fitness requirements

Desirable:

• Quarry, mining, or concrete industry experience
• Mechanical aptitude
• First Aid Certificate
