Job summary

DDH1 Drilling is seeking an experienced Diamond Driller for an immediate start on a 2:1 FIFO roster near Cloncurry, Queensland. You will operate DRA800/UDR1200 capable rigs and contribute to safe, high-quality drilling outcomes on regional projects.

The role requires hands-on experience with diamond and mud rotary drilling, a valid HR licence, an active First Aid certificate and a current police check. Regional Queensland work with ongoing training is offered.

Qualifications

• Diamond drilling experience required.
• Experience operating DRA800 is essential.
• UDR1200 drill rig experience highly regarded and beneficial.
• Current HR Licence or above is required.
• First Aid Certificate and National Police Clearance.
• Cert 3 Drilling certificate is required.
• Willingness to work a 2:1 FIFO roster.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate DRA800 / UDR1200 and Diamond drilling equipment.
• Conduct mud rotary operations using DR800 / UDR1200 and/or Diamond drilling with UDR1200 drills.
• Complete daily pre-starts, inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Perform drilling activities to client specifications and program requirements.
• Monitor drilling performance and identify equipment or operational issues.
• Maintain accurate drilling records and reporting.
• Assist with equipment maintenance and servicing.
• Ensure compliance with company, client and site safety requirements.
• Maintain high standards of housekeeping and workplace conduct.
• Work collaboratively with the drilling crew, supervisors and site personnel.

Join DDH1 Drilling and work on a specialised drilling project in regional Queensland.

DDH1 Drilling is seeking an experienced Diamond Driller for an immediate start on a 2:1 FIFO roster near Cloncurry, Queensland.

We are specifically looking for a Driller with demonstrated experience operating a DRA800 or UDR1200. Previous UDR1200 drill rig experience is highly regarded and also mud rotary and diamond drilling experience.

About You

• Demonstrated Diamond Drilling experience
• Proven experience operating a DRA800– essential
• Previous UDR1200 drill rig experience highly regarded
• Experience working in remote drilling environments
• Current HR Licence or above
• Current First Aid Certificate
• National Police Clearance
• Cert 3 Drilling certificate
• Strong commitment to safety and operational excellence
• Ability to work effectively as part of a drilling crew
• Ability to work a 2:1 FIFO roster
• Desirable tickets include Dogging, Front End Loader, Telehandler and other relevant high-risk or site licences
