Job summary

WorkPac is seeking an experienced Driller for a quarry-based role in Cairns, Queensland. You will operate DPI/Sandvik drilling equipment, perform pre-starts, and conduct drilling activities within a drill-and-blast team. This casual position runs for approximately six months with a Monday to Friday roster and 10-hour shifts.

The role demands a proven drilling background, a current White Card, and a strong commitment to safety. Immediate start and a stable project environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated experience as a Driller.
• Experience operating DPI/Sandvik equipment desirable.
• Previous quarry, mining or drill and blast experience.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Current White Card mandatory.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for drilling operations within a quarry environment, operating DPI/Sandvik drilling equipment and working as part of an experienced drill and blast team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Driller looking for consistent Monday to Friday work over an approximately 6-month project.

About You
