Bayside City Council is hiring for Bayside Care and Support to help older people live safely and confidently at home in Bayside and Glen Eira, including areas like Brighton and Caulfield.

No prior aged care experience is required; training and support are provided to help you start and grow in this meaningful community role.

Formación

• Must be available at least 4 weekdays between 9am and 3pm.
• Must have a reliable car and a current Victorian driver’s license.
• Able to meet the physical requirements of the role.
• Willing to obtain Police Check and Working with Children Check; Bayside will cover the cost.

Responsabilidades

• Provide domestic support such as vacuuming, mopping and general cleaning.
• Bathroom and kitchen cleaning and bed linen changes.
• Light laundry and other routine household duties.
• Monitor clients’ health and wellbeing and report concerns.
• Travel between clients’ homes across Bayside and Glen Eira and build relationships with a regular group of clients.

This role focuses primarily on domestic support, helping your clients maintain a safe, clean and comfortable home environment.

Your regular duties may include:

• Vacuuming, mopping and general cleaning

• Monitoring your clients’ health and wellbeing and reporting any concerns.

We’re looking for people who:
