Job summary

Warrigal is seeking a Home Care Support Worker to help older people stay safe, independent and comfortable in their own homes by delivering a range of domestic assistance services.

You will work across our Home Services team to support everyday household tasks, from cleaning and laundry to meal preparation, shopping and general household support, ensuring services are delivered safely and in line with care plans.

Working across our Home Services team, you will assist customerswith everyday household tasks that contribute directly to theirwellbeing, comfort and quality of life. From cleaning, vacuumingand laundry to meal preparation, shopping and general householdsupport, your work will help create clean, safe and welcoming homeenvironments.

You will work independently while also being part of a supportiveteam, building positive relationships with customers and ensuringservices are delivered safely, professionally and in line withindividual care plans. Through your commitment to quality serviceand compassionate support, you will make a meaningful difference inthe lives of older people throughout the community.

The requirements | What it takes to do thiswork

• Current First Aid certificate
• Current Drivers Licence
• Reliable car with comprehensive car insurance
• Empathy and commitment to the care of older people
• Demonstrated interpersonal and written skills
• Understanding of VVHS Responsibilities
• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised
• Committed to workplace equity
