LiveBetter Aged Care invites applications for Permanent Part-Time Home Care Workers in Wagga Wagga, NSW. Join a dynamic team delivering in-home support to regional communities, helping clients live better lives at home.

You will provide person-centred care, assist with daily activities, and support clients to maintain independence, dignity and choice. Training, flexibility and a compassionate approach are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Willingness to undertake personal care services with customers.

• Must have a fully registered and comprehensively insured vehicle.

Responsabilités

• Meal Preparation: cooking, meal planning and preparation.
• Transport: accompany customers to appointments and outings.
• Social Support: welfare checks and companionship in the community.
• Domestic Assistance: cleaning, laundry, ironing and home maintenance.
• Personal care: basic hygiene assistance as required.

We have Permanent Part-Time opportunities in Wagga Wagga NSW for Home Care Workers to join our dynamic team.

In Home Services support people in regional communities across New South Wales and Queensland to live better lives. We empower and support people to lead a happy and independent life, in the comfort of their own home.

What your Day-to-Day will look like

In this role, you will be invested in providing a person-centered approach to enrich the lives of our customers within their own homes. Identifying and assessing customer needs, we go above and beyond to support them in their day to day living and encourage them to exercise choice and control. Tasks may include but are not limited to:

• Meal Preparation: cooking, food preparation and meal planning
• Transport: transport to medical appointments, social engagements, shopping (including assisting with shopping) and other outings as required
• Social Support: welfare checks, fostering meaningful connections, offering empathetic companionship, and maintaining their connection to the community
• Domestic Assistance: duties such as (but not limited to) vacuuming, laundry, general cleaning, dusting, washing dishes, cleaning windows, cleaning carpets, making beds, basic home, and garden maintenance
• Personal care: this may include toileting, bathing, showering, oral hygiene, and other personal hygiene needs

• Completion of NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’
• Current First Aid and CPR qualifications
• Current unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence and willingness to undertake travel in accordance with responsibilities of the role
