Job summary

Australian Unity Limited is seeking caring individuals to support elderly clients at home in Narooma and surrounding areas. The role offers permanent part-time contracts with 20-30 hours per fortnight and flexible hours from 8am to 3pm on weekdays.

An Australian Driver's Licence and own car are required, along with 12 months of personal care experience in aged care. Hourly rate ranges from $34.80 to $36.59 plus 12% super and a travel/time allowance.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care services including showering, Toileting, medications assistance and transportation support.
• Be a friendly face and brighten clients' day.

Do you meet these minimum requirements?

• Live in or near Naroomaincluding surrounding suburbs Dalmeny, Kiang, North Narooma,
• Hold a current Australian Drivers' Licence with your own car (sorry, we cannot accept International licences or shared/rental vehicles)
• Have 12 months personal care workerindustry experience in a paid Aged Care setting
• Available to work a minimum of 6 hours a day between 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday (weekend availability is a bonus but not required)
• Commitment to our paid 2-week Brilliant @ Basics Training when you start! (Get ready to learn, grow & be supported!) Travel is required for training.

• Provide domestic assistance, such as cleaning, vacuuming, laundry, and meal preparation.
• Provide personal care services including showering, toileting, assistance with medications, as well as domestic duties & social supports such as assisting with transportation for clients.
• Most importantly: be a friendly face & brighten someone's day!
