Job summary

ACCIONA is seeking a meticulous Document Controller for the Brisbane project. You will own daily control of drawings, specs and project records, building a robust document system and starter packs for subcontractors. The role starts in Fortitude Valley and moves to the Sunshine Coast in February 2027.

You will report to the Lead Document Controller, audit records, and collaborate with Quality, design teams and subcontractors to ensure current information is used on site.

Qualifications

• Must have strong MS Excel/Word skills and good email discipline.
• Administrative qualification or equivalent experience is required.
• Experience with document control on large-scale construction projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control and distribute drawings, specifications, and plans using current versions.
• Audit records, manage the document register, and track shop drawings through approvals.
• Train project users and ensure compliance with WHS/rail safety induction.
• Coordinate with Quality Engineer, design teams and subcontractors.

Backed by $5.5 billion in joint government funding, the project is part of Queensland's infrastructure pipeline ahead of Brisbane 2032 and is now in design and preconstruction. **About the Opportunity:** You will report to the Lead Document Controller and own daily control of drawings, specifications and project records. Help build the document control system, from register structure and procedures to software set up and starter packs for subcontractors and consultants. Train project users, audit records and work with the Quality Engineer, design teams and subcontractors so crews build from current information.
