Job summary

ACCIONA is undertaking the Western Harbour Tunnel – Stage 2 project in Sydney. We are seeking a Document Controller to manage drawings, specifications, plans, procedures and correspondence, ensuring only current versions are used and accessible.

Key responsibilities include supporting document control systems, verifying transmittals, securing storage of permits and contracts, and auditing records. Proactive training and configuration support will be provided to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience with MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with Electronic Document Management Systems (EDMS).
• Proven collaboration and clear communication with stakeholders.
• Ability to organize and prioritize tasks independently.
• Energetic with a positive can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

• Support stakeholders in document management and document control systems.
• Verify receipt of incoming documents against transmittals.
• Maintain secure document storage of permits, contracts and project documentation.
• Record, check and track all incoming and outgoing project documents.
• Provide software training, guidance, assistance and configuration.
• Conduct audits of document management systems and records.

The new Western Harbour Tunnel (WHT) will connect to WestConnex at the Rozelle Interchange, cross underneath Sydney Harbour between Birchgrove and Waverton, and connect with the Warringah Freeway near North Sydney. Project scope includes:* Construction of approximately 4.8 kilometres of mainline tunnels with three lanes in each direction* Civil, Mechanical and Electrical fitout of Stage 1 and Stage 2 tunnels* Surface level work, including on and off ramps and tie-in work to the Warringah FreewayAs the Document controller, you will control all drawings, specifications, plans, procedures, correspondence, and reports to ensure only current and authorised versions are used.
