Qualifications

• Proven sales leadership in freight forwarding or international logistics.
• Minimum five years in management leading teams.
• Track record of driving revenue growth and achieving targets.
• Experience recruiting, coaching and developing sales professionals.
• Strong commercial acumen and contract negotiation experience.
• Excellent communication, presentation and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to analyse sales performance, manage pipelines and KPIs.
• Structured, organised leadership with delegation.
• Confident, charismatic relationship-builder at all levels.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Full working rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the district sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market share.
• Lead, coach and develop the sales team to high performance.
• Identify, pursue and support closure of major sales opportunities.
• Recruit and maintain a strong talent pipeline.
• Monitor pipeline activity and KPIs for consistent results.
• Build relationships with key customers and expand accounts.

• Analyse market trends and competitor activity.
• Oversee sales budgets, forecasting and reporting.
• Facilitate regular sales meetings, pipeline reviews and discussions.
• Develop career progression plans and support development of the team.
• Ensure smooth handover of new business to operations.
• Support marketing initiatives and client engagement.
• Drive collaboration across the global network to maximise opportunities.
