Job summary

Inghams Enterprises is seeking a Forklift Operator to support our Lisarow Distribution Warehouse. You will drive High Reach and counterbalance forklifts, pick and pack using RF scanners, and work in a chill/freezer environment while ensuring quality and safety.

The role offers Monday to Friday shifts with immediate start, onsite parking, employee/product discounts, and opportunities for career development within a large ASX-listed poultry company across Australia and New Zealand.

Qualifications

• Experience operating High Reach and Counterbalance forklifts.
• Experience operating double deep High Reach forklifts is required.
• Willingness to work varying shifts (day/afternoon).
• Good understanding of safety procedures and instruction interpretation.

Responsibilities

• High Reach, Counterbalance forklift driving.
• Unload/load inbound and outbound stock and stack pallets.
• Quality control: shipment accuracy; report quality variances.
• Picking and packing using RF scanners; forklifts required.
• Manual handling duties: lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, reaching.
• Identify/escalate Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks.
• Quality control: temperature checks and data entry.

Your Opportunity to Join our Team

In this role you will be supporting our Lisarow Distribution Warehouse, picking and packing using RF scanners with all roles requiring the use of forklifts and working within a chiller/freezer environment.

What you'll do:

• High Reach, Counterbalance forklift driving
• Unloading/loading inbound and outbound stock and efficiently stacking pallets
• Quality control: Ensuring shipment accuracy, checking and reporting quality variances
• Picking and packing using RF scanners with all roles requiring the use of forklifts
• Completing manual handling duties – lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching
• Identifying and escalating, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks
• Quality control - temperature checks and data entry

What you'll bring:

• Experienced with High-Reach and counterbalance Forklift Operators to work on our various shifts (at least 12 months of experience)
• Previous experience operating double deep High Reach forklifts (Required)
• Monday to Friday with a willingness to work both day and or afternoon shifts.
• Capable of performing tasks efficiently, correctly, and systematicallyin accordance withpolicies and standards.
• Ability to understand, correctly interpret and follow instructions, procedures, and information.
• Good levelof fitness isrequiredas you will manually handle up to 5kg- 15kg.
• Respond calmly when faced with obstacles
• Communicate well both written and verbally
