Job summary

Inghams Enterprises is hiring for a Process Worker to support our Further Processing Plant in NSW. The role offers day and afternoon shifts from Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work. No experience required as training is provided; onsite parking and employee benefits are available.

You will handle raw materials, perform manual tasks, maintain cleanliness, and follow strict quality and safety standards in a fast-paced, team-driven environment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work under minimum supervision in a small team.
• Capable of performing tasks efficiently, correctly and systematically.
• Understand, interpret and follow instructions and procedures.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team.
• Good command of English (spoken and written).
• Calm, methodical response to obstacles.
• Forklift license is encouraged.
• Elevated Work Platform and Boiler ticket advantageous.
• Physically fit for manual handling up to 5–15 kg.
• Ability to work on a moving production line.

Responsibilities

• Process and inspect raw materials safely per quality specs.
• Perform manual handling: lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, reaching.
• Clean and maintain a tidy workspace.
• Store and maintain materials, equipment and tools.
• Work in a cold environment.
• Identify and address food safety and quality issues and risks.
• Participate in safety initiatives and follow safety rules.
• Be a reliable, active team member.

In this role as a Process worker, you will be supporting our Further Processing Plant. This hands‑on role offers day and afternoon shifts from Mondays to Fridays, with some weekend work as well.

Daily Tasks:

• Process and inspect raw materials safely and systematically, according to the quality specifications.
• Perform manual handling tasks which include lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, and reaching.
• Cleaning duties andmaintaininga clean workspace.
• Store andmaintainmaterials, equipment, and tools.
• Ability to work in a cold environment.
• Identifyand upscale Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards, and risks.
• Participate in safety initiatives, follow the safety rules, speak up, and be mindful of risks.
• Being an active, committed, and reliable team member.

You will bring to this role:

• Ability to work under minimum supervision in a small team.

• Ability to understand, correctly interpret and follow instructions, procedures, and information.
• Proven ability to work effectively within a team environment.
• Good command of English both verbal and written.
• Able to respond calmly and methodically when faced with obstacles.
• Candidates with a Forklift license are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Candidates who are keen to work in our Protein Conversion Plant, holder of an Elevated Work Platform certificate, and/or Boiler ticket would be an advantage.
• Good levelof fitness isrequiredas you will manually handle up to 5kg- 15kg.
• Must be able to work with a move production line.
