Job summary

Inghams Enterprises is seeking experienced High-Reach Forklift Operators to join our Brisbane distribution team. You will operate high-reach and counterbalance forklifts, pick and pack using RF scanners, and handle inbound/outbound stock in a chilled environment.

You must hold a current LF/LO license (at least 12 months experience) and be able to work across several shifts. The role offers onsite parking, career development opportunities, and room for permanent employment within a growing

Qualifications

• A Current LF/LO license with at least 12 months of experience.
• High Reach and Counterbalance forklift experience is required.
• Able to understand and follow instructions and procedures.
• Work well within a team and communicate effectively, written and verbal.
• Commitment, reliability and motivation in a safety-conscious environment.
• Work in a chiller/freezer environment and lift up to 20 kg.

Responsibilities

• Operate High Reach/LO stock-picker/Counterbalance forklifts on daily tasks.
• Unload/load inbound and outbound stock and stack pallets efficiently.
• Perform quality control checks and report variances.
• Pick and pack using RF scanners; forklift use mandatory.
• Perform manual handling duties: lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, reaching.
• Identify and escalate Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks.

In this role you will be supporting our Lytton Distribution Centre, picking and packing using RF scanners with all roles requiring the use of forklifts and working within a chiller/freezer environment.

We are seeking experienced High-Reach Forklift Operators to work on our various shifts - you will be entitled to Afternoon/Night shift loading:

• Day DispatchTues-Sat(6:00am to 2:21pm)
• Afternoon DispatchMon-Fri (1:45pm to 10:06pm)
• Night DispatchMon-Fri (10:00pm to 6:21am)
• Night Dispatch Sun-Thurs(Sun 8:00pm-4:21am &Mon-Thurs10:00pm to 6:21am)

Daily Tasks:

• High Reach/LO stock-picker/Counterbalance forklift driving
• Unloading/loading inbound and outbound stock and efficiently stacking pallets
• Quality control: Ensuring shipment accuracy, checking and reporting quality variances
• Picking and packing using RF scanners with all roles requiring the use of forklifts
• Completing manual handling duties - lifting, pulling, pushing, bending and reaching
• Identifying and escalating, Food Safety & Quality issues, hazards and risks

You Will Bring to this Role:

• A Current LF/LO license (at least 12 months of experience)
• High Reach and Counterbalance experience (Required)
• Understand and follow instructions and procedures
• Work well within a team environment
• Communicate well both written and verbally
• Showing commitment, reliability and motivation
• Work in a chiller/freezer environment
• Physically fit and repetitively liftup to 20kg
