Inghams Chickens in Hazelmere, Western Australia, is seeking experienced forklift drivers for an immediate start in a fast-paced distribution centre. This casual role offers shift flexibility from 7:00 am to 10:00 pm.

Rate starts at AU$43.51 per hour after three months, with potential increase to AU$47.10 per hour based on performance and attendance. You will handle high-reach and counterbalance forklifts, RF scanning, and packing tasks.

Qualifications

• High-reach forklift experience essential.
• Counterbalance forklift experience essential.
• RF scanner proficiency required.
• Warehouse/Distribution Centre experience preferred.
• Ability to follow procedures reliably.
• Strong teamwork and ability to work independently.
• Clear written and verbal communication.
• Physically fit; able to repetitively lift 5–15 kg.
• Weekend and public holiday shift flexibility.

Responsabilités

• Operate high-reach forklifts (7 bays high, single bay deep) as core duties.
• Operate counterbalance forklifts; load/unload pallets.
• Double-deep forklift operations desirable for warehouse tasks.
• Pallet and unit picking/packing using RF scanning.
• Store, maintain, and organise materials and tools.
• Identify and escalate food safety, quality, hazards, and risks.

Based in Hazelmere, join our stable ASX-listed organisation being part of a team in a fast-paced Distribution Centre. We're looking for experienced forklift drivers ready for an immediate start in a competitive, team-focused environment with genuine job security and room to grow.

Operational hours: 7:00 am – 10:00 pm (shift flexibility to suit your lifestyle)

Casual position – Rate: $43.51 p/h (inclusive of casual loading) after three months- and pending on performance and attendance, the rate may increase to $47.10 p/h

What You'll Do

• High-reach forklift operation (7 bays high, single bay deep) – this is core to the role and a must
• Counterbalance experience is a must.
• Double-deep forklift operations for warehouse and truck loading/unloading desirable
• Pallet and unit picking/packing using RF scanning
• Storing, maintaining, and organising materials, equipment, and tools
• Identifying and escalating Food Safety, Quality, hazards, and risks to leadership
