Job summary

Zinfra invites experienced Distribution Lineworkers to join our New Connections & Metering team servicing Beaconsfield and Thomastown depots. You’ll deliver connections, metering works and service upgrades across the distribution network, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship.

Permanent full-time roles with overtime, weekend work, and clear pathways for upskilling and career progression, including potential to become an Authorised Operator or RSO/DSO Network Operator.

Qualifications

• Certificate III ESI in Distribution is required.
• Current Electrical Lineworker Distribution Licence is required.
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle desirable).
• White/Blue card (OHS construction induction card).
• Experience in electrical maintenance and construction.
• Experience in high-risk environments with safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Undertake new customer connections, service upgrades, alterations and abolishments across the distribution network.
• Complete metering-related works, including installation, replacement and related service activities.
• Install, maintain and replace overhead and underground customer service connections.
• Perform all associated service and connection testing to verify safety and integrity of completed works.
