Job summary

CitiPower and Powercor is seeking a Lineworker – Distribution based in Kyneton, Victoria. You will join a field-based team responsible for constructing, operating and maintaining overhead and underground distribution networks to supply customers safely and reliably.

The role requires strong technical capability, sound judgment and careful planning, with occasional rosters away from home and weather‑exposed duties.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead (mandatory).
• ESI Worker with VESI Rigging.
• ESV licence as a Lineworker (mandatory).
• HR Heavy Vehicle Licence (mandatory).
• High Voltage Operating training / authority (mandatory).

Responsibilities

• Undertake construction, commissioning, operating and maintenance of overhead and underground transmission/distribution systems
• Operate plant, tools and equipment in relation to construction, commissioning, operating and maintenance of overhead and underground transmission/distribution systems
• Locate & rectify faults
• Install and maintain metering at customers premises
• Install and maintain overhead and underground services
• Effectively manage work priorities and attend client appointments
