Job summary

Zinfra is expanding its team at the Hume Depot in Australia, seeking experienced Distribution Lineworkers to build and maintain critical electricity networks. The role offers sign-on and referral bonuses, relocation support, and a 9-day fortnight, with permanent full-time opportunities and ample training to advance your skills.

You will interpret diagrams, perform construction and maintenance on distribution/transmission networks, and respond to emergencies on high/low voltage assets, all while

Qualifications

• Study and interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams & maps.
• Current Electrical Lineworker Distribution Licence.
• Experience in electrical maintenance and construction environments.
• White/Blue card (OHS construction induction).
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle desirable).
• Experience working in high-risk environments with strong safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Study and interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams & maps
• Undertake the construction and maintenance of electricity distribution and/or transmission networks in accordance with Company Policies, Quality Systems and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements
• Emergency response on high/low voltage distribution assets

About You

• Hold a Certificate III ESI in Distribution or Line Mechanic Distribution Level 4
• Current Electrical Lineworker Distribution Licence
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle highly desirable)
• White/Blue card (OHS construction induction card)
• Experience within an electrical maintenance and construction environment
• Experience working in high-risk environments, with a strong commitment to safety protocols
