Job summary

Zinfra is seeking skilled Distribution Lineworkers for our Beaconsfield and Thomastown depots in Melbourne. Join a newly formed New Connections & Metering team delivering connections, metering services and essential distribution work across a growing network.

We offer overtime, weekend work, and clear pathways for upskilling and progression, including potential to become an Authorised Operator or RSO/DSO Network Operator, with a supportive team culture.

Qualifications

• Hold a Certificate III ESI in Distribution.
• Current Electrical Lineworker Distribution Licence.
• Valid Australian Driver's Licence (heavy vehicle desirable).
• White/Blue card (OHS construction induction card).
• Experience within an electrical maintenance and construction environment.
• Experience working in high-risk environments, with a strong commitment to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Undertake new customer connections, service upgrades, alterations and abolishments across the distribution network.
• Complete metering works, including installation, replacement and associated service activities.
• Install, maintain and replace overhead and underground customer service connections.
• Perform all associated service and connection testing to verify the safety and integrity of completed works.
