Powercor in Victoria is seeking a Field-based Lineworker – Distribution to build, commission, operate and maintain overhead and underground networks, delivering reliable power to our customers. Based in Kyneton, you’ll work across distribution systems with safety and planning at the fore and may travel for rostered duties.

Join a team covered by the Powercor & CitiPower & CEPU Enterprise Agreement. The role offers a salary range from Pay Point 12 to 16 plus 13% super and allowances, with

Qualifications

• Certificate III in ESI – Power Systems – Distribution Overhead or equivalent.
• ESI Worker, including VESI Rigging.
• ESV licence as a Lineworker (mandatory).
• Heavy Vehicle Licence - HR (mandatory).
• High Voltage Operating training / authority (mandatory).
• Interstate applicants to attach evidence of qualification and licences.

Responsibilities

• Construct, commission, operate and maintain overhead and underground networks.
• Operate plant, tools and equipment for distribution systems.
• Locate and rectify faults in the network.
• Install and maintain metering at customers’ premises.
• Install and maintain overhead and underground services.
• Prioritise work and manage time for client appointments.
