Job summary

Zinfra is seeking experienced Distribution Lineworkers for the Hume Depot to build and maintain electricity distribution assets essential for community reliability. You will interpret drawings, assist in network construction and maintenance, and respond to emergencies on high/low voltage assets across the energy network.

Qualifications

• Certificate III ESI in Distribution or Line Mechanic Distribution Level 4 required.
• Current Electrical Lineworker Distribution Licence.
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle desirable).
• White/Blue Card (OHS induction).
• Experience in electrical maintenance and construction with safety focus.

Responsibilities

• Study and interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams & maps.
• Construct and maintain electricity distribution and/or transmission networks per policies and HS&E procedures.
• Emergency response on high/low voltage distribution assets.

Key Responsibilities

• Study and interpret technical drawings, network line diagrams & maps
• Undertake the construction and maintenance of electricity distribution and/or transmission networks in accordance with Company Policies, Quality Systems and HSE procedures as well as statutory requirements
• Emergency response on high/low voltage distribution assets

About You

• Hold a Certificate III ESI in Distribution or Line Mechanic Distribution Level 4
• Current Electrical Lineworker Distribution Licence
• Valid Australian Drivers Licence (heavy vehicle highly desirable)
• White/Blue card (OHS construction induction card)
• Experience within an electrical maintenance and construction environment
• Experience working in high-risk environments, with a strong commitment to safety protocols
