Job summary

Randstad in Townsville is seeking a proactive Dispatch Coordinator to direct and coordinate all dispatch activities, ensuring customer delivery requirements are met cost-effectively and in line with company policy.

You will act as the frontline interface between Randstad and customers, upholding exceptional service standards and improving operational efficiency across dispatch operations, safety, and compliance.

Qualifications

• Attention to detail with high numeracy accuracy.
• Proficient in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office; SAP desirable.
• Strong leadership for resource management and execution of company strategies.

Responsibilities

• Load planning to optimise space and capacity.
• Coordinate delivery schedules with yard and production teams.
• Perform pre-delivery checks for type, quantity, quality and load restraints.
• Track loads and liaise with cartage providers for timely deliveries.
• Produce weekly wide-load compliance summaries and dispatch reports.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve delivery issues professionally.
