BetaBoard is seeking an organised Dispatch Coordinator in Brisbane to keep our deliveries running smoothly and keep customers informed.
You’ll coordinate daily dispatch schedules, manage orders with care, and work with operations, customers and suppliers to prioritise loads and respond to changes through the day. This role requires accuracy, calm under pressure and strong communication skills.

BetaBoard supplies plasterboard and building materials to the construction industry across South East Queensland. Our dispatch operations play a key role in getting the right materials to our customers safely and on time.
Reporting to the Dispatch Manager, you’ll coordinate daily dispatch schedules, deliveries and customer pickups. You’ll work closely with our operational teams, customers and suppliers to manage priorities, maximise load utilisation and respond to changes throughout the day.

Planning and coordinating dispatch schedules to meet customer delivery and pickup requirements.
Organising the receipt and movement of materials between BetaBoard, customers and suppliers.
Maximising load utilisation to support efficient deliveries.
Liaising with relevant teams and stakeholders to communicate priorities, resolve scheduling issues and keep orders moving.
Accurately recording orders and dispatch information in our sales management system.
Preparing daily job sheets and finalising order documentation in line with company procedures.
Supporting safe dispatch practices, including workplace health and safety and Chain of Responsibility requirements.
Identifying practical improvements to scheduling, accuracy and delivery performance.
Strong organisation and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
Attention to detail when processing orders, maintaining records and preparing documentation.
Clear communication and a respectful, cooperative approach with customers and colleagues.
The ability to work through changing priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Confidence using Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and learning business systems.
A reliable approach, sound safety awareness and ownership of your work.
Previous experience in dispatch, logistics or transport coordination would be valuable. Experience in plasterboard or building materials is desirable.
You’ll have a direct impact on our daily operations and customer experience, working closely with the Operations Manager and wider team. There’s scope to contribute ideas, improve dispatch processes and build your knowledge of building materials distribution.
