We support people living with psychosocial disability, intellectual disability and autism across Sydney. We’re looking for reliable, engaging support workers who can build positive relationships and help participants achieve their goals.

Shifts, travel and hours

Most shifts are a minimum of four hours. Shorter shifts may attract an additional travel payment, depending on their location and whether they sit alongside another shift.

Willingness to travel is essential. Our competitive rates reflect the flexibility we need across our team, with participants located throughout:

  • Inner West and Central Sydney
  • Southwest Sydney
  • St George and Sutherland Shire
  • Eastern Suburbs

You may initially start with a couple of shifts. As you build relationships with participants, there is an opportunity to grow towards 25–38 hours per week, depending on participant feedback, your availability and service demand.

About the role
  • Community access and meaningful activities
  • Personal care and domestic tasks
  • Building independence and working towards their goals
  • Following individual support plans and behaviour support plans
  • Completing accurate shift notes and promptly reporting incidents or concerns
About you

  • Takes initiative and suggests enjoyable, affordable activities
  • Communicates well and works confidently both independently and within a team
  • Arrives on time and accurately records shift start and finish times
  • Can work flexible hours, including mornings, afternoons and weekends
  • Is comfortable providing personal care and undertaking manual handling with appropriate training
  • Experience in disability support or mental health is valued. A Certificate III in Individual Support or a relevant qualification is desirable but not essential.
