Job summary

Advantage Healthcare Support Nursing Agency on the Central Coast is seeking an experienced Disability Support Worker to provide person-centred care to a participant with complex needs, helping maintain independence, wellbeing and quality of life. This role suits carers seeking extra shifts.

You will assist with daily living, transport and social activities, with on-call flexibility across weekdays, weekends and public holidays.

Qualifications

• NDIS Worker Screening Check is required.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certificates.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC) completed.
• Full Australian driver's licence and own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred support to NDIS clients.
• Assist with daily living, personal care, domestic tasks, transport and community access.
• Support clients attending appointments and engaging in social activities.
• Plan and accompany clients on outings and activities.
• Work across weekdays, weekends and public holidays with on-call flexibility.
• Perform Disability Support Worker and AIN duties.

Advantage Healthcare Support (AHS) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Disability Support Worker to join our team.

We are looking for a dedicated professional who can provide person-centred support to a participant with complex needs, helping maintain independence, wellbeing, and quality of life.

This opportunity is ideal for support workers seeking extra shifts to complement their existing schedule.

Essential Requirements:

• Must be open to accepting 2-hour services.
• Must be available across weekdays and weekends.
• Full Australian driver's licence and own vehicle.
• Comprehensive car insurance.
• NDIS Worker Screening Check.
• Valid First Aid & CPR certificates.
• Working with Children Check (WWCC).

What We're Looking For:

• Fluent English speaker with excellent communication skills.
• Experience with manual handling, high-care support, and challenging behaviours.
• Prior experience as a Disability Support Worker or AIN.
• Initiative to support clients in achieving their goals and building community connections.
